"Once upon a time" | A boutique November festival

Three evenings of live concerts, in the center of Bucharest, dedicated to the legendary music that defined generations. 

In the heart of the capital, under the spectacular projections of the Alhambra Garden, where history intertwines with the energy of the present, a new cultural chapter opens: "Once upon a time", a boutique festival in November dedicated to the music that has spanned decades.

For three evenings, between November 21st and 23rd, the Alhambra Garden will become the stage for live concerts that bring back to the city center the atmosphere of major international shows, through exceptional tribute performers. 

In a setting that combines the refinement of interwar architecture with the dynamism of contemporary culture, "Once upon a time" proposes a complete musical experience. The audience is invited to rediscover the charm of authentic live music, performed by artists who faithfully recreate the energy, sound, and emotion of the original concerts.

From the disco-funk brilliance of the '70s, to the unmistakable vibe of rock'n'roll and the depth of soul-jazz, the Alhambra Garden transforms into a space of passion, elegance, and spectacle that goes beyond the boundaries of a simple concert evening.

November 21 | Boney M. Experience by Brad Vee Johnson

The first evening brings to the Alhambra Garden stage the unmistakable energy of the '70s–'80s, through the voice and charisma of Brad Vee Johnson, former lead singer of the legendary band Boney M. The audience will be taken on a colorful journey, full of rhythm and joy, in which the hits that have conquered generations will resound: "Rivers of Babylon", "Daddy Cool", "Sunny", "Rasputin" and "Ma Baker", songs that continue to inspire fans from all over the world today.

Through the show "The Boney M. Experience", Brad Vee Johnson brings back to life the charm of the disco era, combining the dancing energy of that period with soul, jazz and blues music. 

November 22 | A Vision of Elvis On Tour – The King is Back

The second evening of the festival is dedicated to the legendary Elvis Presley, through an exceptional tribute show performed by Rob Kingsley, the winner of the National Tribute Music Awards for "Official Elvis Show" and "No.1 Male Tribute Artist". Considered the most authentic Elvis tribute in the world, the show A Vision of Elvis brings to Bucharest the energy and spectacle that consecrated the "king" on the big international stages.

After a series of sold-out performances in Europe and the USA, Rob Kingsley brings to the Alhambra Garden a complex visual experience, which recreates the atmosphere of the original concerts, from the emblematic costumes to the impeccable vocal performance and impressive scenography.

November 23 | Amy Winehouse Tribute – Back to Black with Ana Maria Alexie & Sorin Zlat

The festival concludes with a tribute dedicated to one of the most powerful and authentic voices of modern music; Amy Winehouse. Ana Maria Alexie, accompanied by Sorin Zlat Quartet, brings a refined concert to the Alhambra Garden stage, charged with emotion and sensitivity, which delicately reinterprets the spirit and intensity of the British artist.

Songs like "Rehab", "Valerie" or "Back to Black" come to life in an artistic formula that combines vocal power with the refinement of jazz improvisation. Each note becomes a memory, each moment becomes a tribute to an artist who redefined emotion in music.

In the spectacular setting of the Alhambra Garden, one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the center of Bucharest, this evening closes the festival on a profound, sincere and memorable note.

All concerts will take place at Alhambra Garden, on Constantin Mille Street no. 13, starting at 19:00.
