Analia Selis and Ștefan Doniga embark on a new musical adventure dedicated to interwar Romanian tango.
Between November 28 and December 14, 2025, the Analia Selis Cultural Association presents the TangOdiseea Interbelic national tour, a musical project that celebrates Romania's National Day through a sound journey between Argentina and Romania, between the elegance of tango and the charm of Romanian interwar music.
The protagonists of the tour are Analia Selis (voice) and Ștefan Doniga (piano), two artists of great refinement, who bring to the public a repertoire that unites the passion of the Argentinian tango with the delicacy and nobility of Romanian music from the interwar period.
Among the titles that will resound on stage are songs such as "Pe bolta când apare luna" (When the moon appears in the sky), "Sub balcon ți-am cântat o serenadă" (I sang you a serenade under the balcony), "Vrei să ne-ntâlnim sâmbătă seara" (Do you want to meet on Saturday evening), "Mâna birjar" (The coachman's hand) or "Habar n-ai tu" (You have no idea) — musical jewels that revive the stories of an elegant and passionate era.

I had the immense joy of discovering the Romanian interwar repertoire and I firmly felt that this music has great power, which must be valued in all its splendor. I carry it on with the same respect and pride with which I carry my Romanian identity card since 2011."

Analia Selis
Originally from Tucumán, Argentina, Analia Selis is an internationally renowned artist based in Romania since 2003. After a successful career in Latin American pop music, she has dedicated the last few years to tango, becoming one of the most representative voices of the genre in Europe. She has collaborated with important symphony orchestras in Romania and abroad and received in 2022 the "Country Brand Ambassador" distinction from the Argentinian Interministerial Committee for her cultural contribution in the world.
Ștefan Doniga
Pianist with an impressive career on stages in over 30 countries, Ștefan Doniga is a constant presence in innovative artistic projects. He has made world premiere recordings and promoted Romanian music internationally. He holds a GUINNESS World Record for the Fastest Concert Tour on all continents, is a laureate of the MUSICRIT 2023 Excellence Award and has been involved in numerous cultural projects broadcast by Romanian Television.
TangOdiseea Interbelic is a project that materializes Analia Selis's love and respect for Romania - an invitation to rediscover the beauty of Romanian tango and to celebrate national identity through art.
