A disturbing story about love, politics, and war. A powerful, current show, focused on the evolution of the two protagonists, Antony and Cleopatra, in a digitally recreated universe. Like Romeo and his Juliet, the two lovers with an unearthly passion struggle to escape the traps of the great destructive mechanism of the world, although, paradoxically, they are in the position of decision-makers.
The characters take on a legendary aura, and death transforms their life into an exemplary destiny. A Shakespeare of our time.
Antony: Gabriel Costan

A powerful show, which is related to the realities of our lives today, with current questions and with the political situation in Europe and in the world. The show is focused on the evolution of the two protagonists, Antony and Cleopatra. Like Romeo and his Juliet, these Shakespearean lovers are driven by a superhuman passion. They try in vain to escape the traps of the great destructive mechanism of the world and their own ambitions for power.
The beauty of their passion remains alive, although it is always disturbed by political goals, ambitions, selfishness, weakness, wars and intrigues. The conquest of the world — the whole world — is the backdrop of their love story. The huge map of the known world, the provinces, the countries and the armies are images that haunt them. The thousands of dead soldiers and civilians, sacrificed for the ambitions of the leaders, weigh on their conscience.
Their desire to live together as ordinary people comes only after the disaster has occurred. Too late. The essence of Shakespeare's play is brought back to life in a contemporary style that integrates ancient Egyptian rituals and puts pure passion, so rare in today's world, in a dazzling light.
