The multimedia show HEART OF QUEEN MARIA, created and performed by Romanian-Canadian actress Claudia Motea, brings back into the light, with deep emotion and rare sincerity, the portrait of Queen Maria – the sovereign who loved Romania with a force that continues to inspire generations. For 70 minutes, theater, music, and film images intertwine in a vibrant stage story, in which the audience discovers both the queen and the woman with an extraordinary destiny.

Claudia Motea offers an intense and warm interpretation that directly touches the souls of the spectators, in a production made together with an exceptional artistic team: Radu Aldulescu (screenplay), Alina Hiristea (direction and musical selection), Mioara Iofciulescu (costumes) and Ciprian Duică (visual frame).

The show is produced by International Artiscan and made in collaboration with prestigious cultural partners: The Union of Professional Journalists in Romania, The Bucharest Handmade Art Academy, Creator/Libris Publishing House, Ultima Oră and Proxim Theater.

HEART OF QUEEN MARIA has already enjoyed remarkable success, being welcomed with enthusiasm and emotion both in Romania and in numerous Romanian communities abroad. Each performance – whether it took place in theaters in the country or on international stages – was received with full halls, long applause and reactions that confirmed the emotional force and authenticity of this tribute dedicated to Queen Maria.
