The show "THE INTERPRETER"  is a boulevard comedy in one act written by Tristan Bernard, translated into Romanian by Radu Beligan and adapted as a musical show by Radu Gheorghe.

In "THE INTERPRETER", two young lovers take refuge far from the eyes of the girl's overly strict father, at a hotel in Paris where they hope to live in peace the much-dreamed-of moments of happiness. The father follows the fugitives and manages to identify the place where they are hiding. He arrives at the hotel where the "doves" have just settled in and, unfortunately for him, as well as for all those involved in this love story, he is greeted by the interpreter Eugen, who has just been hired for this position, without having any qualifications for it. Although the job description requires it, he does not know any foreign language. From here, the confusions begin... "We can also draw some lessons from this bubbly musical comedy! Does COMMUNICATION hold the key to our happiness? Will knowing more languages allow us to understand each other better? Love, luck, chance, which of these terms defines our existence? You will be able to find the answers to all these questions by watching the show «THE INTERPRETER».

The well-known actor also signs the lyrics, the musical mix, the scenography and the direction of this show, which includes: Radu Gheorghe, Mihai Bisericanu, Sanda Ladoși and Georgeta Ciocîrlan who also created the costumes.
