Beauty was born in the countryside; it shows in the eyes of Maricica, a simple girl from Oltenia, who came to Bucharest to become an actress.
The play is a lesson full of humor and sincerity that our characters, Maricica and the Painter, bravely practice in front of a crowd of strangers. It is an immersion into the picturesque life of the countryside and an encouragement to be unique, to love life, to fight for what we feel. An amusing challenge to rediscover ourselves.
