Buzău Sounds of Jazz Festival, now in its 3rd edition, brings artists and musical projects from Romania and Europe to the stage of the Buzău County Council Hall.

A meeting between contemporary jazz, improvisation, and vocals, in a program built around musicians famous on jazz stages in Romania and abroad.

The festival continues with:
TRIOSENCE (DE) - Bernard Schüler (piano), Omar Rodriguez Calvo (bass), and Tobias Schulte (percussion) have developed an unmistakable style, which they call "songjazz," defined by the power and clarity of melodies – continuing the tradition of German song in the vein of Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, and up to today's hits. 100% original, the pieces of these three musicians go home on the lips of the audience and are hummed for a good while.
EQUINOX QUINTET (RO) feat. Jasmine DEMIR

Two distinct formations exploring the sounds of European and contemporary jazz, in an evening dedicated to the dialogue between tradition, improvisation, and musical expressiveness.
