SEASONS OF PASSION
Vivaldi & Beethoven

The Roman Catholic Dome "Saint George" Timisoara
November 27, 2026, 7:30 PM
On November 27th, we invite you to Timișoara for an evening of music where two of the great composers of the classical repertoire meet: Antonio Vivaldi and Ludwig van Beethoven.

In the special atmosphere of the Roman Catholic Dome "Saint George," violinist Natalia Pancec and pianist Andrei Licareț will perform two emblematic works: Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" and Beethoven's Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9, "Kreutzer."

In "The Four Seasons," Vivaldi captures the changes in nature through music, from the freshness of spring and the storms of summer to the melancholy of autumn and the tranquility of winter. Almost three centuries later, the work continues to fascinate with its energy, expressiveness, and the richness of musical imagery it evokes.

In contrast, Beethoven's "Kreutzer" Sonata impresses with its power and drama. The violin and piano engage in an intense, contrasting dialogue in a work that showcases both the virtuosity of the performers and their ability to build a complex musical discourse together.
