Oxana (a "modern" young woman to the tips of her nails, pretty, a little naive, but extremely determined) proposes to Elena Vladimirovna (a professional wife, past her youth, but intelligent, with "look" and initiated in the habits of life) a business as indecent as it is original: a sale-purchase contract of her much-desired husband against the tempting sum of "twenty thousand".
