Vincent, a successful real estate agent and future father, is invited to a relaxed dinner organized by his sister, Babou, and his brother-in-law, Pierre, a university professor. Vincent's wife, Anna, a fashion specialist, and Claude, their childhood friend and trombonist at the Radio Philharmonic, complete the table. Everything starts as a normal evening between close friends, but a simple joke about the name of the child to be born triggers an avalanche of unexpected revelations, comic situations and tensions that test the friendship and bonds between them.

About his main role, Mihai Călin says: “It's the best comedy I've ever played in. I'm glad to be reunited on stage with Claudiu Bleonț, my colleague from the National Theater, whose explosive energy and improvisational ability make me enjoy every second. My character is a real challenge: complex, intelligent, funny, selfish, narcissistic, soulful, arrogant – a comedy soup. I hope you laugh in the audience at least as much as I feel like laughing on stage, even if I have to bite my lips to hold back.”

Written by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, the French comedy Le Prénom premiered in Paris in 2010, with the famous Patrick Bruel in one of the main roles. The success was immediate, the play being nominated for several Molière Awards and later adapted for cinema, where it obtained five nominations at the César Awards in 2013.

In Romania, the show bears the signature of director Răzvan Săvescu, known to the public for highly successful television series, for his theater productions, but also for the film America, venim!, partially made in New York. With a modern directorial style and attentive to the rhythm of the comedy, Săvescu brings to the stage a team of extremely beloved and charismatic actors.
